If you want to be a licensed Director by the end of the fall, then this is the class for you!
The December Director Credential course has both online & in-person elements, allowing you to get started on your learning journey right away and then a small class. You know the benefits of having a dedicated teacher in a small class! These ratios are great! 1:10.
In the Weekender, you get to come together with others and to specific questions in a group setting. This is a great way to share information about programs and get help on specific issues without worrying if you covered the required material. Your class will be led by an award winning trainer & best-selling author, Carrie Casey.
You will learn everything you need to know to start your journey as a Director. Whether you came from being a classroom teacher or are entering early childhood for the first time, this class will get you the tools you need.
This class is a hybrid-hybrid course that is done in one weekend. You can attend in-person or virtually, based on how you learn best.
Director Credential Renewal
Your credential will be good for 1 year & includes 5 hours of coaching & support. You can reach out to the Texas Director team throughout the year. Texas Director can help with staffing challenges, problem solving licensing issues, parental concerns, to list just few of the areas we coach programs on.
To renew your credential you will submit your annual training (30 hours), as required by licensing. You can get this training from any source. If you would like to get your training from Texas Director, we have 2 options
- a monthly membership that includes 30 + hours of training for you, training materials for your staff & marketing materials
- a complete training folder with 30 hours of training that covers all the required topics.
This weekend class, like all of our Director credentialing classes, is approved by Texas HHS. Texas Director has been training directors in Texas since 2005, longer than any other credential provider.
Registration for this class is required at least one week prior to the weekend so that students can get the book and start the homework.
